All right, this episode was actually not that exciting or whatever, BUT.

They really suck at convincing me they're not dating now. (GRABBING HIS ARM SO THE CRAZY LADY WON'T SEE YOU THROUGH THE WINDOW? Really, Brennan? Like he's going to, what, protect you? Who are you?) LET US NOT EVEN START ON THE FACT THAT BRENNAN WAS THE ONE DRIVING DURING THIS ENTIRE EPISODE AND NO ONE EVER EXPLAINED IT. No, seriously. Brennan... drove. She has done that, what, twice? EVER?! Dating. DATING. They are dating people who date and also who are dating. Or, if you will, for the upteenth time, A COUPLE. WITHOUT. BENEFITS. Oh, gosh.
1a. NO REALLY BRENNAN DROVE ALL THE TIME, AND IT WAS IN A HYBRID CAR, AND THERE WAS NO EXPLANATION. Tahlia, it was most likely product placement. Don't freak out. Of course this is true! Still! NO. EXPLANATION.
2. Oh, them:
BRENNAN: So you have faith that you'll retain your faith. Why?
BOOTH: Because, Bones, it's... the sun'll come up, and tomorrow's a new day.
BRENNAN: I know that feeling.
BOOTH: ...really? You know what it's like to get your faith back?
BRENNAN: When I see effects and I'm unable to discern the cause, my faith in reason and consequence is shaken.
BOOTH: Then what happens?
BRENNAN: Two plus two equals four? I put sugar in my coffee, and it tastes sweet. The sun comes up because the world turns. These things are beautiful to me. There are mysteries I will never understand, but everywhere I look I see proof that for every effect there is a corresponding cause. Even if I can't see it. I find that reassuring.
BOOTH: And life is good again.
BRENNAN: Life is very good.
BOOTH: Yes, it is.
