bad day at work
well, last night i had to go to work and everything started out all cool. then this guy comes in and he's pretty nice...a little annoying...but nice. so i start waiting on him and he's making conversation w/ me. well then he pays me for some fudge. well, i take his money from him and look at it and it looks a little funny but i dont think anything about it cuz i thought it might have been an old bill before the newer ones were made. so i take it and give him his change. then another guy comes in and makes a little bit of small talk w/ me but i dont think to much about it. well, then he pays me and it looks EXACTLY like the bill i got from the other guy and thats when it hits me that something wasnt right (the bills were a 20 and a 10 b/t/w). so after the guy walks out, i hold the bill up to the light and realize that something wasnt right about it so i ran across the hall to another store and had them check it for me. well, sure enough...both the bills that i got were counterfeit. so i run back into the store and call mall security and they come down. well by that time..im in tears and i just didnt know what to do cuz i think im gonna lose my job over this, but then i talk to the manager and she claimed that she wasnt mad...even though she didnt sound to convincing. so i called the assistant manager and she came back to the store so i could go home. but before i could leave..i had to retell the story to about 7 different officers (police and mall security)and they had to take down information like what the men looked like, their age, what they bought, my age, address..an some other stuff. so now i feel really bad about the whole thing and i dont want to work anymore. ugh!! well, i just wanted to get that off my chest cuz everybody was asking me what was wrong w/ me today and i was getting tired of telling the story. well, have a good day til next time
