hey you:)..I was close to nudging you to post but I figured you were busy busy.. I am glad the camera worked for the wedding-I CAN totally IMAGINE how panicky you must have been! lol!!.. I would have been sweating up a storm if that had happened to me.. ~did you tell the bride and groom about the situation afterwards? or did you just smile and say "oh it was nothing..worked like a charm" :P?
I know what you mean about getting to church..I am a very spiritual person too. I love church and it's something I really believe is important but I haven't been in awhile either:(..I just haven't found the "right" church..but then I guess I haven't been looking as hard as I should be.. I used to go all the time-then I had some bad experiences at the church and ever since then I haven't really found a home church that felt welcoming and all...:( I know what you mean too about feeling slightly hypocritical-I felt that way at a wedding I went to a few months back...
I think he might be trying to tell us something;)
Anyway..I am glad you got your car back..Have a really awesome week!!

I told the bride and groom about it... they laughed and were glad it ended up working. Now I just need to copy it over to DVD format and give them the copy :)
That's funny about the church thing: the same thing happened with us! We attended the church we eventually got married in, but not long afterwards our minister was asked to step down for some stupid reason (I guess he wasn't popular anymore..haha).. and everyone, including us, who liked this guy kinda left with him. We eventually moved to a different apartment closer to where we work, so that also kinda discouraged us from going to that church (would have been a 45-min commute!) The house we live in now is semi-closer to church, but we just havn't really WANTED to go back. Like you, we just havn't found the right one, but havn't really looked either :)
But, I believe as long as you talk to God personally, and you feel him in your heart, you're a true believer.
Anyway, I hope YOU have a great week! I'm hauling out the fall decorations, so I'm all excited (not putting them up until the weekend, though, when it will actually BE fall!)
