I have the MOST AWESOME parents!...
Dad just notified me tonight that he and Mom are going to Gatlinburg the week of Rocky and my wedding anniversary...only they are not staying the full week: they are going to RENT a chalet for a week, but they plan to stay the first part of the week, and they want Rocky and I to stay the last part of the week (which entails our actual anniversary... October 12th)
The bonus: they are paying for the full week, as their treat to us as an anniversary gift! So Rocky and I get to get away for a weekend for our anniversary! How cool!
It made my day, since I was getting bummed out that my folks and sister are going to Key Largo and Key West this week. (Key Largo to see my cousin get married... then on to Key West after that)..and I'm not able to go. So, instead, I'm watching 2 of their 3 dogs (Shadow and Mozart... Rodeo is staying w/ my aunt)
So, according to Melissa, I'm doing "so much" for them that it seemed appropriate that they help Rocky and I go on vacation. Yeah.. I'm doing "so much"... but then Dad comes over and helps lay a kitchen floor without even thinking!
Basically, I'll be forever grateful for my parents... I trully have the best parents! And I love them with all my heart... without even thinking :)
