Colours of the rainbow show up in the grass in the middle of a rainy day near the walking trail by the creek.
I don't know how the grass is the colour it is -- if it's natural or chemical or what is happening there. But it looks interesting.
The creek is fuller than it's been in some time as it's been raining all weekend and through today. We need the rain, we're desperately behind, and if the reservoirs drop too low we will need more water rationing and be at risk for bush fires.
California and Australia seem to have quite a few things in common...
