Whatever Rakka had been planning was forgotten; she spent the day answering the Little Feathers' questions. "Reki told you the same thing after Kuu had her Day of Flight," she said, after the fifth run-though.
"Tell it again!" they reply, and Rakka wonders if it's reassurance, not answers, that they seek. Everything is normal; the older Haibane know what's going on.
That night, she mentions it to Nemu as they watch over the cocoons. "Maybe you could help me make a book for them," she said, "to remind them these things happen."
Nemu nods. "That's a good idea."
