Happy Birthday, The Corona-pocalypse

Livejournal is 21! It's crazy how we all joined LJ when we were five-years old.

I am rarely here but I still love this place and the people I've met here. And just as important I am still friends with the person who pulled me kicking and screaming from Yahoo Groups to LJ.

Are we having fun yet? More importantly are we all alive still? Healthy? Or as my grandmother used to say, “Still kicking but not too high”?

As everything is still up in the air on when life can return to some semblance of normalcy, it seems like celebrities have cooled their tits online. The first two weeks were filled with musicians doing battles (there is still an upcoming R&B battle between Babyface and Teddy Riley), and live Instagram concerts that I can never seem to figure out how to watch. Now they're using their SM for charitable endeavors.

Sirius Radio Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband have set up a Youtube channel called "Stars in the House" where they stage reunions and viewers can donate to the Actors Fund to help out of work theatre workers. Who did the Rudetsky and hubs host?

"The Nanny" cast for a live reading

The cast of "Frasier"

Very few of The "Glee" cast

Either it's some kind of low-key promotion or maybe it's that being cooped up has people being reflective because people are visiting their past like:

The cast of the former Nickelodeon series "Victorious" getting together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series
Ariana Grande wasn't even important enough to get left of center

The "High School Musical" cast minus Zac Efron

*The HSM cast also "reunited" for the just aired Disney Sing-a-long. This time Efron wasn't completely absent - he introduced the segment.

The Maze Runner cast

The "My So-Called Life" cast (minus Jared Leto)

The "Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again" younger cast

*Jeremy Irvine - who played the young version of Pierce Brosnan - is helping during this crisis in his own way - by helping people with their homework.

People have also celebrated birthdays in the virtual realm:

The Star Trek: The Next Generation cast celebrating the birthday of Marina Sirtis

The Wonder Woman: 1984 cast celebrating Pedro Pascal (who will play Maxwell Lord) birthday

Elizabeth Hurley's son Damian turned 18th under quarantine so since he couldn't be with friends, his mum threw him a party with the six others who are staying with her during the lockdown: her mom, her aunt, and an assortment of friends.

Mama Hurley

Damian looking like Kiera Knightly

Not as crowded as the Hurley Household is Tom Holland's place. He's living with his brother Harry, and two friends Harrison and Tuwaine.

The four engaged in a virtual puzzle battle with Tom's family

In between puzzle battles, Tom tried to get a handstand challenge going, but it's not a simple handstand, you have to pull your shirt on while doing a handstand.

He called on "Spider-Man: Far From Home" costar Jake Gyllenhaal to do it. And by "do it", it could mean the handstand challenge or a handjob.

Jake and sister Maggie did it effortlessly

It's no wonder that Tom loves him

Couples are reaching out to each other:

Drew Barrymore commented on a article about former fiancé Justin Long and he commented

Britney Spears videoed herself dancing to Justin Timberlake's latest

Diddy and his kids held a charity Dance Party

and he called on former girlfriend Jennifer Lopez for salsa skills

The ultimate example of this quarantine making strange roommates is that exes Demi Moore and Bruce Willis are staying together with their daughters and their daughter's boyfriends in Demi's house while Bruce's wife and their daughters remain at their home.

Bruce's wife Emma and their two daughters

Then

Now

Dad Bruce also offered up stylist work by shaving the head of daughter Tallulah.

Taron Egerton also shaved his head since he wasn't sure when he'd be able to see a barber

Someone who is also quarantining with her kids is Jude Law's ex-wife Sadie Frost whose second oldest son Raff returned home to stay with her and his siblings Rudy and Iris.

She misses her eldest, son Finlay Munro Kemp, son of actor/ and Spandau Ballet member Gary Kemp

Damn, Sadie. You should have married Martin Kemp. He looks good!

Bobby Cannavale also misses his eldest, son Jake (The Mandalorian, Nurse Jackie).

Face-Timing

But Bobby is far from an empty nester as he and Rose Byrne have two little ones, Rocco and Rafa.

Other people are handling quarantine in their own special way like Armie Hammer. Armie's play was cut short in New York and he and his family escaped L.A for his childhood residence of the Grand Cayman which is also on lockdown.

Armie cosplaying as Joe Exotic maybe?

And yes, Timothee did come for his man.

Armie's longtime friend got jokes

This was the first time in a very long time that Timothee has commented on Armie's IG. That's okay, other people like Timothee's friend actor/rapper Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi keeps the memory of their friendship alive.

As does random people who edit their Wikipedia entries.

~This shutdown has crushed the entertainment world. Films have been delayed, shows are ending without finales.. But not "Supernatural" who despite not finishing the seasons, are getting to wrap up their show.

EW honors the show that went on longer than "Smallville", the show Jensen Cankles Ackles said went on too long during its 7th season.

What is this: Supernatural: Summers?

And Friday night, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and wife's Hilarie Burton's talk show airs and their first guest? Jensen and Daneel Ackles.

armie hammer, call me by your name, spiderman, jared padalecki, picspam, jake gyllenhaal, tom holland, cmbyn, spn, supernatural, celebrity kids, jensen ackles, timothee chalamet
