I spent an evening with *NotaKid!Flash Kyle Gallner in support of the Season 2 premiere of his WGN series “Outsiders”. I don’t watch the show but I was a comped ticket and an opportunity to see Bart Allen again? Who am I to pass that up?

~The lineup for the Paley Fest has been announced.
*The past few years there has been rarely anything I was really jazzed to see. I’ve already seen the “This is Us” cast during the fall preview night and that is really the only show on this list that I watch. In the past I’ve attended “Flash”, “Arrow”, “Scandal” and “American Horror Story” panels so I don’t feel compelled to go again.
To be fair my TV watching is a bit slapdash. I’m still hanging in with “The Vampire Diaires” with its final season,

but I’ve picked up on UK shows like "Taboo" starring Tom Hardy and
Delicious starring Dawn French, Emilia Fox and Iain Glen (too little Glen for my taste

What’s jarring about “Delicious” is that Emilia Fox looks so much like her brother Freddie that I just keep seeing him. If he would don a wig for the role I don’t think many would’ve suspect he swapped roles with Emilia.

~I found an old thread of “Billy Elliott” fans who would routinely report back from the show. At any given time there were two or three Billys so let’s say Tom Holland would do a few days and rotate with Dean-Charles. From the few posts I read Dean-Charles’ Billy was a departure in that he played Billy more headstrong and cocky than the others. Tom just seemed to suffer a lot of injuries. One report was that his nose started bleeding during the show and someone off-stage was beckoning him to get off but he wouldn’t stop.
*Talking about reunions we have a few like the reunion of Sick Boy, Renton, Spud and Begbie when “Trainspotting 2” is released.

~In what was to be David Bowie’s 70th birthday a celebration of his music took place in Brixton in the UK. Amongst the performers were Simon LeBon (performing a very faithful cover of “Let’s Dance”), Gary Oldman and members of Bowie’s band.
