~Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder, who managed to eke out fan support of “Man of Steel” even though a great number of fans were disappointed by its representation of Superman, is now trying its luck by announcing the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman in their upcoming Superman/Batman mashup sequel to “Man of Steel”.

Who knew Jared was so bitchy?

He gets froggish on Twitter, doesn't he? Next he'll be on Nick Cannon's Wilding Out, sassy pants.

Ben sucked as Daredevil, he's gonna do better as Batman?

He ruined a character no one gave a damn about but was still incensed out how bad he was in it and now DC/WB is trusting him with their #2 world favorite? What kind of blackmail material does Affleck have on Snyder.

I'm old enough to remember the cosmic scream when Michael Keaton was chosen as Batman--I personally was ready to burn the mother down--as we were wont to say when I was wee--but he is to this date my hands-down favorite Batman.

I remember that. No one could understand Mr. Mom playing Batman.

I have a hard time gauging what makes a good Batman versus a good Bruce Wayne. I loved Val Kilmer's Bruce Wayne but I don't think anyone post-Keaton got the Batman part right.

JDM would have been perfect, but we never get nice things.

Casting JDM would be too much like doing right. When I heard his name floated I thought he had it cinched. And I would love the tears that would pour down Jensen's face at losing his "dream role" to Papa Winchester.

I don’t know why I can't stop crying over Lee Thompson Young. I was not a big follower of his, I just knew him from SV's very rare times of casting a gorgeous person who could act, and Rizzoli and Isles. It just drives home how senseless and painful suicide is to the ones left behind.

When I read it on Twitter I actually replied to the tweet "Please, no." It was shocking and just heartbreaking. I've seen this boy for seemingly forever and watched him grow up to be this amazing man. I hurt for his family and the pain LTY must've been feeling.

JA's little girl. My, stars! Let this lay that theory to rest, that two incredibly good-looking people will always create equally good-looking spawn.

Case in point Channing Tatum's daughter.

Hopefully she'll grow out of all of that (but I said the same thing about Bobbi Kristina Brown and that didn't work out so well. )

I guess now all those ridiculous speculations about their sexuality and their relationship will finally be laid to rest. After all, married with children--how straight can you get, am I right? Sure I am.

Politicians Michael Huffington, Jim McGreevy, "Rolling Stone Magazine"s Jan Wenner,Anthony Perkins, Lou Diamond Phillip's ex-wife and Tom Cruise heartily agree!

Tom Welling, Thomas, Tommy-how so MFing hot??? Age is truly wonderful to some people. Just looking at him makes me want to break into rent a remote cabin and stock it with coffee, danishes, olive oil, handcuffs and maybe some duct tape. What? A girl's got to eat sometimes.

I have the Superman duct tape you would need in such an endeavor!

He's going to be a dashing older gent. Now with the flecks of grey around the temple? His beauty is a gift!

Whew! I did that startled, jerk-away from the screen thing. Uhm! I take it back, lil' J2.
