Movies I've Seen...Upcoming Films..

It’s officially summer (yes!) and the summer films have been a mixed bag (poor “Battleship”, “Avengers” heroes must have the power of mind control-a billion in box office?). This weekend saw Pixar’s 16th number one film with “Brave”. But I like to think of all of these films as the appetizers before “The Dark Knight Rises”.

You had me at Magic Mike, but I stayed for Tom, the shout-out to Fast 6, and Dwayne "The Rock-Hot Sauce" Johnson. Yeah, I can see the Viagra comparison, but I've always thought of him as hot sauce, because you can eat a meal without it, and it's just a meal, but throw in the hot sauce--and, well, BAM, it's something special then. Like Dwayne "Big Sexy 'Rock' Haute Sauce" Johnson. Luke Evans is in this, too? I think I need to have a seat, because slashing Brian with Carter Verone (Cole Hauser) was bad enough, now I'll have visions of that Dom/Brian/Bad Guy!Luke sandwich.

That was actually Fast Five. Fast 6 is Brian and Dom: Guess which is Mr. Mom. I'm pretty sure civil unions are legal in Brazil, so we (or I ) can assume that Dom and Brian did it up with all of that money stolen during the heist. Honeymoons can be expensive, plus Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson aka Hobbs needed a big tip for making it rain like it was the apocalypse all day--everyday.

Tom Welling is flawfree and eternal. JA wishes he could be as amazing as our true WB alien prince.
