Maybe Michelle Bachman is right about God being angry and that these are the End of Days.

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that Chad Michael Murray has closed a deal to return during the show’s upcoming ninth and final season.

This mothafcker

How trifling/pathetic/desperate is that show that the “get” in the final season is Chad Michael Murray to return? When Rosenbaum returned to Smallville Twitter went crazy. TheChad’s return (even his website is THEChadMichaelMurray.com) didn’t even register a peep. On any given day on Twitter “Pootie Tang” is trending. Mayhem’s return to OTH? Nada.

What has CMM been up to since he left “One Tree Hill” you ask? Oh, you didn’t ask. Neither has anyone else.

You smug, derelict jerkwad dipshit walking sack of pus

Please Jensen, Christian and fat Steve, string him up

And I don’t know who he’s trying to fool with these tweets

Maybe he’s trying to find another young bride fiancé, but you’re not fooling me Mayhem!

~While Chad has to stick his tail between his legs and return to his OTH home, what is his gainfully employed pal Jared Padalecki up to besides rimming Jensen?

I’m guessing shooting, but their creepy bodyguard is keeping up his Twitter presence by tweeting the pictures of rubber duckies that the fans are sending in.

They know these aren’t biodegradable, right?

*The show has cast one of my favorite actors, James Patrick Stuart as a an evildoer named Richard Roman in the season's sixth episode. Richard’s a very canny, charming, well-connected new adversary whom Crowley sought out to join forces with him to pursue common interests.

I just want to know, will this be yet another guy who Dean forges an erotically codependent relationship with?

Cos Jen’s all about the men

Patrick was in one of the best “Frasier” episodes with the best exaggerated fake French accent as Guy.

What I didn’t know is that Patrick’s dad is Chad Stuart of British duo Chad & Jeremy and Patrick was a child actor.

Here he is in “Battlestar Galatica”

And a few years ago with his own son, Graham

Here’s to hope for future picture of Patrick and some other SPN guest star doing this same pose.

Also cast in an upcoming episodes is Kevin McNally from the “Pirates of the Carribean” films as Bobby’s old friend/computer whiz in the episode “Slash Fiction” (hardy, har, har, writers).

*Eric Kripke still kinda warming the bench on the show is trying to develop a series about the DC comics character Deadman for the CW.

The most recent action Deadman got into was during Flashpoint when he was part of The Flying Graysons storyline. Which is ironic since the CW tried to do a series about the Graysons two years ago (hahahaha Souders/Peterson).
Under Kripke, Deadman centers on the spirit of a trapeze artist, Boston Brand, who is murdered, and continues to live on by inhabiting other people's bodies and helping them resolve conflicts and issues in their lives

In other words Ghost! Quantum Leap.

I honestly didn’t know anything about Deadman until Michael Rosenbaum voiced him in an episode of “Batman: The Brave and the Bold”. ::themoreyouknowgif::

~In more DCU news, the relaunched JLA debuted, selling out punk rock fast and is already going into a second printing.
My JLA #1 Thoughts
The story opens with Batman trying to stop some crime (shocker) in Gotham when Hal Jordan comes and discovers that Batman really is real and not an urban myth.

Hal is cocky, Bruce is a super serious control freak and the two go off to find an alien named Superman who will hopefully be able to help them figure out this alien technology (Mother Box) and why was alien being ravaging town in the name of some thing named Darkseid (yes, they’re going way back).

They find Superman and like them, he’s raring for a fight.

Or sex

The issue is pretty slap dash to be the opening salvo in this much ballyhooed relaunch. It should’ve been a longer issue. And the establishing subplot that citizens don’t trust costumed superheroes is not unlike the ending of “The Dark Knight” but more like the VRA storyline in “Smallville”. I’m not sure if this has ever been canon, though I know there was a distrust of meta humans in the “Kingdom Come” storyline years ago.

Bah. I’m interested in seeing how the team assembles and what, if any, interaction any of them have had with each other. Like does Green Arrow and Hal Jordan know each other? Does Oliver know Dinah?

Across the country, comic stores where holding midnight parties to celebrate the relaunch. The NY Times post pictures from a NY event.

DcnU Supergirl and Black Canary

Static Shock, Superboy, Green Lantern and some other character

Don’t act like you’re too cool for all that

He really needs to sideeye the Superman costume from “Man of Steel”.

They just killed the Kents all over again

Dat bulge

Dat ass

It’s still all wrong. I know it’s to keep in line with the DcnU Superman’s suit-no yellow, no red briefs, but it’s so dark. I hope they’re not trying to make Superman gritty.

To paraphrase Greg Rucka, writer of many DCU titles, let’s not confuse gritty with better.

Magic Mountain announced two new rides a Superman one and a Lex Luthor one.

Awesomecakes!

Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom

~ Dueling Snow Whites, there’s rumored to be dueling Linda Lovelace films (one was supposed to star Lindsay Lohan and now the stars Malin Ackerman (“Children’s Hospital”, “Watchmen”. The other reportedly Olivia Wilde is in negotiations to star), now there are dueling Jeff Buckley biopics.

Yes, Jeff Buckley, the crooner who drowned at age 30 in 1997 while recording his last album which was later released by his mother; a collection called “Sketches to My Sweetheart, The Drunk”.

Jeff’s mother is behind one of the films and she chose “Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark”s Reeve Carney. The other project stars Penn Badgley.

Penn stars in “Greetings from Tim Buckley “ which follows the true story of the days leading up to Jeff Buckley’s eminent 1991 performance at his father’s tribute concert in St. Ann’s Church. Through a romance with a young woman working at the concert, he comes to understand the father who abandoned him. Culminating in a cathartic performance of his father’s most famous songs, Jeff’s debut stuns the audience and launches his career as one of the greatest young musicians of his time.
Wow. That’s a ebullient description.

Reeve is in the untitled one backed by Jeff’s mother. She described Reeve as being prepared for this role his whole life.
Although Penn’s film is already shooting, I think the better one will be Reeve’s because Reeve is a better singer (Penn sings too, but not as good as Reeve). Reeve looks more like Jeff and I don’t hate Reeve like I hate Penn.
The Real Jeff

Reeve

Penn as Jeff

So yeah, my bets on Reeve. Though I don’t foresee me seeing either one.

Why Reeve wins? Hear him perform “Boy Falls From the Sky” from “Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark”

~”Sketches To My Sweetheart, The Drunk” features many of my favorite Jeff Buckley songs but the reason why Jeff was still in Mississippi recording it was because he was so unhappy with many of the tracks. His mother ended up releasing it after his death and the album is a mix of really grand songs (“Everybody Here Wants You”, “Yard of Blonde Girls”), but I think had he been able to finish he’d be able to top his first CD “Grace” .

My favorite song from “Grace”

~There’s a slight biopic coming out. “Magic Mike” which is based on Channing Tatum’s experience as a stripper

Yes, Chan worked the pole

He still has it

I want the story of Channing’s time doing pseudo-porny shoots before he was a legitimate model)

“Magic Mike” stars Channing as a stripper who is giving a guiding hand to a young up and coming stripper (Alex Pettyfer). Sadly not in a sexy hand-jobby way that would make this film a ton more appealing.

Sounds better

Remember when Channing was crazy hot like Alex? But in a dirty, rougher-have-sex-with-him-in-a-club-kinda way?

The film also features “True Blood”’s Joe Manganello, Elvis Presley’s granddaughter model/actress Riley Keough, Olivia Munn, Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Bomer.

Speaking of Matt has been announced as one of the participants in Dustin Lance Black’s (writer of “Milk”) one-night only performance of his larger Broadway play about the trials that came out of Prop 8. Matt is paired with Cheyenne Jackson (“Glee”, “30 Rock”) as real life husbands Paul Katami and Jeff Zarrillo, central litigants in the Prop 8 trials.

The main cast includes Morgan Freeman, Marisa Tomei, Anthony Edwards, and Rob Reiner, John Lithgow and Bradley Whitford.

~I leave you with

Someone who should've been cast in "Magic Mike"
