~ QAF Alum updates.

*Sharon Gless stars in an indie film, playing in limited markets, titled “Hannah Free” about the span of a love affair between two women, Hannah (Gless) and Rachel (Maureen Gallagher).

*I saw Michelle Clunie starring in Peter Paige’s second directorial feature, 2008’s “Leaving Barstow”. The lead actor, who also wrote the script, looked like a brunette Randy Harrison to me.

*Hal Sparks is back to looking like Gene Simmons and dodging people on Twitter who ask him what it’s like to kiss Robert Gant and Gale Harold (his response? Ask their partners.)

*Robert Gant had a recurring role on a British series named “Personal Affairs” and an appearance on a recent “Bones” episode.

*The lovely Thea Gill has a series of things in post-production and was in an episode of “The Ghost Whisperer”

*Scott Lowell was in an episode of “Leverage” last season, two episodes of “Heroes” and does voice work for FOX’s “American Dad” which is way better than “Heroes”.

*Randy Harrison is still doing theatre . Randy is currently (?) playing Andy Warhol in “Pop!”

*Collection of Randy videos

*Randy articles in the NY Times and the The Adovcate

*Gale Harold is beginning his role in Tennessee Williams “Orpheus Descending”. What is it about you ask?

Tennessee Williams' modern version of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice is set in the American South of repressed desires. Guitar-playing drifter Val Xavier (Harold) arrives in a small town looking for work and the opportunity to renounce his wild ways, where he meets Lady Torrance (Crosby), a woman with a tragic past who longs for rebirth. Known as one of Williams' darker and more complex plays, Orpheus Descending explores the power of passion, art, and imagination to redeem life and return it to meaning.

Gale looking like the Man in Black, Johnny Cash. Looks damn good while doing so

*Remember the times! QAF had such great photoshoots.

Pic from QAF’s Paley panel

~I’m guessing this solves the question of if Tom Welling will have new PR representation. According to Deadline Hollywood Daily, Simon Halls, formerly of PMK/HBH, has joined his HBH partners at their new venture Slate PR and is reportedly bringing along ALL of his clients which includes Sam Mendes, Ang Lee, Ridley and Tony Scott, Tom Ford, Akiva Goldsman, and Jude Law.

~The Paley Center for Media is prepping for their annual Paley Fest (so far “The Vampire Diaries”, “Glee” and “Modern Family” are on the bill. And just announced a "Soul Train" panel on Jan 29th featuring Don Cornelius and Jody Watley. Now I have to break out my hoop earrings and petticoat) and to celebrate, they’ve added pics from the past years.

~Kryptonsite posted the promo art for “Absolute Justice” ::shudders at title::

I think I’m over the use of Lean!Tom for these shots, but can’t they update Oliver? Justin’s hair isn’t even that light anymore. That’s a S6 shot.

~Other Smallville bits:

*The TV film “Prayers for Bobby” starring Sigourney Weaver and Ryan Kelley has been nominated for a Producer Guild Award. Ryan is played Ryan in “Smallville” episodes “Ryan” (I’m tired of writing Ryan already) and “Stray”.

*Glenn Winter is up for another Cinematography award for “Savior”. Glen won for “Noir” in 2007 and has been nominated in 2005, 2007 and 2008 for his work on the show.

*Phil Morris is starring in the four-episode series for TV One titled “Love That Girl!”. The show is executive produced by Martin Lawrence and stars Tatyana Ali (“Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”) as a divorcee who returns to SoCal to work for her father (Phil Morris).

I’m hoping that this show is supposed to be parody, if not it’s going to be so bad.

*”Blue Mountain State” starring Nino Brown Sam Jones III and Alan Ritchson, produced by Brian Robbins is premiering on Spike TV January 12th.

It’s Pete and Clark going out for the football team all over again.

*Seen on tasabian’s LJ
Rosenbaum and his life partner, Chris looking dashing.

*Pam Grier tweets about Smallville.

*Positive words about Kristin Kreuk’s upcoming stint on “Chuck”.
Meanwhile, Sarah-Chuck fans will have to accept the fact there's a new vixen in town in the form of Kristin Kreuk's Hannah. The Smallville alum will serve as a love interest for Chuck this season, and according to the folks at Fancast.com, "Kreuk positively twinkles when she hits the screen and starts making banter with Mr. Bartowski." That means, expect great chemistry between these two!

~This leads to the Superman portion of the post.

Zachary Levi’s remark about Smallville still leaves me a bit like this

But he looked real good heading to do Letterman.

~ Matthew Bomer’s tush welcomes you.

“White Collar” returns on January 5, 2010 bringing you more darling Matthew.

Will you be watching, like Matthew is?

Matthew’s more thrilled than I am frankly.

Matt with Steven Culp. Years ago I went to a panel featuring the men of “Desperate Housewives” and I went in loving Steven and left loving Doug Savant

I end this post with
Superheroes in hotpants

And bonus Matthew Gray Gubler dancing
