*For Empire Magazine’s 20th anniversary, they called on actors to commemorate their iconic roles. Characters Revisited

Braveheart

Lord of the Rings

Silence of the Lambs

Zoolander

I would have never guessed that that film would inspire people so much.

~Soon to be iconic roles?

*Seen the new one-sheet is Iron Man and War Machine /Rhodey(Don Cheadle)

Iron Man

*You know you want it!

The Karate Kid Redux starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith

Proud Dad, Will Smith

~SV Alumni News…
*Alaina Huffman welcomed her third child, second girl recently. She tweeted

She tweeted “Big brothers are the best”

*Another SV alum (cos I count one-episode guest stars as alums), Tyler Posey (Javier, the terrible Very Special Episode-esque “Subtarranean”)

Has been cast in the lead for MTV’s series remake of the movie “Teen Wolf”. Tyler will take over the role created by Michael J. Fox of “Scott McCall”.
Other names added to the cast list include: Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed and Dylan O'Brien. "Criminal Minds" creator Jeff Davis will be writing the pilot
The show will focus around the dorky teen wolf, Scott McCall (Posey), as he maneuvers his way through high school after he gets a bunch of superpowers, including the ability to attract the ladies, after a wolf attack.

The show will be both a drama and a buddy-comedy, with Scott's buddy being played by Dylan O’Brien, who isn't initially buying into Scott's tale. Crystal Reed is on board as the new girl who falls for Scott and the other Tyler, Tyler Hoechlin, will be the local bad werewolf.

I have no plan on watching it, but I hate that they changed the premise. Scott was like SV’s Clark in that his abilities came to the fore during puberty-it was his heritage, not a werewolf attack. Plus I really liked the dad in the film.

Another SV connection? The original film was co-written by Jeph Loeb, best SV Panel moderator and Smallville writer.

~Times flies and once again the Paley Fest is looming. Two shows have been announced so far. More importantly, there’s a change of venue. The event which was formerly held at the Directors Guild of America was changed to the Arclight’s Cinerama Dome and now it will be held at the Saban Theater which I hope is smaller, but looking online, I don’t think it is.

“Glee” and “The Vampire Diaries”. Initially I was excited but now I’m not so keen on going. I won’t learn anything new, I’ve meet the cast members I wanted to already. Same with TVD. I’ve had my L’il Ian Somerhalder fill at the “Lost” panel-he in all of his turquoise glory.

But I may do this. Coming to a mall near you---if you live in these three cities---The Vampire Diaries cast. And to show how unlike “Twilight” TVD is, you can get your Team Stefan or Team Damon tee (with the worst picture of Ian I’ve seen). I have a feeling the Team Stefan tees will be on clearance very soon.
