annoyance
i am trying not to be annoyed.
my manager put comments in some of the review boxes that said i have gone "above and beyond" and went so far as to sing my praises a time or two. (like three boxes out of 10.)
but then he checked 3's across the board which is not in the above and beyond category. it just Is. i feel like he whipped through and marked off all the threes without reading what it was.
i also feel a less than adequate time was spent going through this process. i asked what kind of goals i should be thinking about for the next year and he said, "i don't know. i hate these things." well great. so do i, but you're the manager and that doesn't help me out.
at least i have a job that i like... even if my manager is a shmuck.
