The impetus for joining
When i was out of work, i went to yoga almost every morning. I exercised at least two to three times a week. I wrote like a crazy person and wrote a book. :)

Now that I have been working from home, you would think this would be "easy" enough to maintain, but for some reason all that has fallen by the way side. I wear pajamas and yoga pants all day because i don't have to leave my house except for yoga and then i still wear yoga pants. When i do leave to go to meetings, i'm limited to which pants i can wear because some are snug. I fear my blue dress (if i am wearing it again) will also be snug. Lack of exercise, sedentary days, and excess snacking is creeping up on me.

I also just ordered a bridesmaid dress for JULY and need to at least maintain the same size i am now. However, it would be super nice to lose a little bit as the dress size they ordered was an exact measurement of my body. there will be no forgiveness and i don't want to pay to let it out.

GOALS:
my goals are my stuff, but here's how i will reach them.

HOW TO REACH IT:
For flexibility:

Commit to a standard yoga class schedule routine. "When i have time" doesn't work because I am not making the time as often as I should.

Mon night, Wed night, Thurs night, Sat or Sun morning.

This means No excuses for "don't feel like it". If yoga class is full, work out at home.

For cardio:
When I had an office job, i had access to a treadmill to work out at lunch or after hours. I also took stairs up and down to my office. I'm home--I have a wii. I even have stairs in my house. I have GOT to break away from this desk during the day.

Commit to 20-30 minutes exercise mid-day Wii cardio time before lunch 2 x a week on days I am home. 1 hour on Sat or Sun.

Week #1:

Identify Bad habit/Trigger food.

I know it's chips. I can't stop. Just the other night, TWD had the Tostitos and i asked for one. i took two, and then suddenly between us, the bag was gone. I had to count all those calories i didn't even want!

Am seeking to sub in snacks like snap peas or pop corn (i don't like buttered pop corn) because i can happily eat those like crazy. i hate chips!!! (actually i don't. that's the problem.) lol
