i dreamed a dream
our phone rang the other night just after we had gone to bed and just after falling asleep.
i apparently assumed, in my dream, that it was TWD's sister.
after the first ring i thought, "he'll get that because it's for him." (i was tired.)
when he didn't i was REALLY ANNOYED. i said to him, "AREN'T YOU GOING TO GET UP??! GO GET THAT PHONE!!" because, obviously, it was her and it wasn't for me. (i saw her on caller ID--IN MY MIND.)
apparently i'm very scary and intimidating using "that tone" because he jumped out of bed and said, "uh, okay..." and ran and get the phone which was for me. it was my dad.
oops.
to be fair, we were sooo tired, and usually we would have been up that late, especially on a weekend. dad was calling ME back after my having left a message earlier.
i didn't even remember barking at TWD until the next day when he said, "What's with ordering me out of bed to go get the phone!?"
lol.
i explained my dream and said i wanted him to get it, because OBVIOUSLY, it was your sister.
he looks at me and said, "yeah. obviously." he just shook his head.
sometimes our dreams make no sense.
