American Born Chinese - now in hardback!
I just got my hands on the new hardback of American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang, which is coming out at the end of this month. It is just beautiful...I highly recommend picking up this edition if you get a chance. This was one of my favorite books last year, and was a Top 10 book for YALSA's first Great Graphic Novels for Teens list, which I had the honor of chairing. (Ok, so it also was a BBYA book, got the Printz Award, and National Book Award...it deserved them all!)
It is exciting to see publishers responding to demand from libraries to re-print a graphic novel that was released in paperback in such a nice hardback edition.
And if you have never read the book...you must do so immediately. I insist.
