Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List
Rachel Cohn and David Levithan

Eli and Naomi are the very best of friends.  They grew up in neighboring apartments, and together they reign over their little corner of New York City.  They were each other's first kiss, they share clothes, they share most everything.  For years they have joked about where they will get married.  And every since Eli came out, Naomi has claimed to be ok with it.  But, secretly, she still believes he is the one for her.  She knows they love each other.  She wants him to be her first.  But then Eli crosses the line and kisses Naomi's boyfriend, and all hell breaks loose.  Sure Bruce the Second wasn't on the No Kiss List, but did he need to be?  Isn't it obvious that he was off limits?  Is there any way this shattered friendship can be mended, or is this the end for Naomi and Eli?

A delightful story of friendship, romance, and love, told from the perspectives of Eli, Naomi, their past loves, current friends, and what could be Mr. Right, for each of them.  Mature situations and language make this best suited for high school, though college students would also enjoy this tale of NYU freshmen trying to hold it all together.
