1) Where did you begin 2008?
Drunk, in my living room with friends and family. We throw a party for New Year's each year.
2) What was your relationship status by Valentine's Day?
Married and slutty.
3) Were you in school anytime this year?
No, but I homeschool the kids so everyday is a school day, sorta.
4) How did you earn your money?
I work for The Man.
5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
Yes, though not for myself.
6) Did you have any encounters with the police?
Nope.
7) Would you relive 2008 over and over again?
No, though not because it was awful or anything. Just would seem sort of boring and pointless to relive it.
8) What did you purchase that was over $1000?
Hmmm, I'm not sure I bought anything over $1,000 this year.
9) Did you know anybody who got married?
Not that I can recall.
10) Did you know anybody who passed away?
Yes, several. Some will be missed, some notsomuch.
11) Did you know anyone who had a baby?
Again, several. I'm at that point in my life where lots and lots of people I know are making people.
12) Did you move anywhere?
No.
13) What concerts/shows did you go to?
Hmmm, couple of plays that the kids were in and a couple we saw with the homeschool group. Free to Be You and Me really sticks out----great college performance. We saw Dar Williams in the spring and some Celtic bands and bellydance acts at Beltane.
Eta: I also saw the True Colors show with Cynid Lauper and the Indigo Girls and some other less memorable peops. :) That was a lot of fun! And those tix were free, so fabulousness all around.

Yes.
15) Do you still have the same job as you did in 2007?
Yes.
16) Has anyone betrayed you in 2008?
Not that I know about!

South shore of LINY.
18) Describe your birthday?
I had a great bday this year. It included a treasure hunt and lots of sweet little surprises.
19) What's one thing you thought you'd never do but did in 2008?
Take that promotion to permanent employment status. Fucking economy in the shitter, really had no choice.
20) What has been your favorite moment?
Spending the weekend celebrating my marriage with our friends and family in Cape May.
21) What's something you learned about yourself?
I can still surprise myself.

A few. *waves* Also, some great friendships were rekindled.

That Friday night in Cape May. Amazing friends, loving energy, lots of laughs and drink and memories and joy and music and even a few tears as we mended some rifts.
29) Would you say you've changed since the beginning of this year?
Not significantly.

Every year has been better since I've been married. Seriously.
