Dancing is so, so, so, so good for me. I got a good three and a half hours in tonight with the Excellent Gentlemen, which was a predictably awesome time. My self care has been good since I returned from my trip, and that makes me happy.

Next Saturday (Nov. 27th) is the Doo Doo Funk All Stars record release party at the Someday Lounge. Official start time is 9, so music will probably start about 10, and it's $8 at the door. Excellent Gentlemen are doing a free show tonight at the Jolly Roger in SE. No opening acts or anything, and the official word is that things start at 10. Without an opener, I don't know how well to trust that time, but worse comes to worse, you've got time for a drink or two before you shake it.

OK, OK, so you can't make it to the FREE Excellent Gentlemen show Friday night at the Twilight Room up north. I understand.
