quick, stealthy update.
Hey-- just got back from hiking for 2+ weeks on the LT. Had a great time, but after a while I got lonely and got sick of the mud and lack of views. I'm going down to VA to hike with James in the Shanandoahs for a while before I go to pennsic. I'm only back in town for a day or so (leaving saturday) which is why I haven't really alerted people to my presence.
However, IF YOU ARE GOING TO PENNSIC, WRITE THIS DOWN:
"I can find Sam by looking in one of the following two places:
House Raeburn (her campsite) on the corner of brewer's road and bythe way
Jactance (the houshold store) not a 3 minute walk from the campground."
Chances are VERY GOOD that someone in one of those two locations will know where I am. (Juliana hangs out in the store with her husband Hal, and they usually have tabs on me, Jeanetta is my sister (also often at the store), and Ignatz is my bro-in law, and is usually at camp in a kilt playing his PSP). I'll also be spending a good deal of time on the archery range. (yay!) If you know where you're camping, let me know, and I'll totally come looking for you. We have an awesome camp full of cute little children, a band of lovely laurels, and great giddy geeks (batman!) so you should come visit.
Also, James and I will be going to Camp Bisco V on August 25th. If you're a fan of psytrance/jam/drum&base/crazy hippies, it has an amazing lineup. $125 for 3 days of music. Posford will be there (as shpongle, hallucinogen AND younger brother), rjd2, new deal, obviously the biscuits, and tons of other awesome people. Just to let everyone know about it. If you decide to go, let me know. Not promising anything (as James is driving), but rides might be able to happen. Chances are we'll be leaving from amherst.
On a personal note, my mom just took me to a 22:30 showing of pirates, which I hadn't seen yet. I've never known her to a) be up that late, and b) do impulsive awesome things like that. She and my dad both seem to be in better moods, which makes me happier than I can possibly say. Yay for that!! (also the movie was awesome)
I think thats all the info that needs to happen. I'm at my parent's house, so don't have craig's email address with me. if someone (missy?) could poke this post at him, that'd be great. thank you!
