Work a day world

I have what some consider an odd work schedule, although it's been more or less set in stone for a decade, so I'm used to it. This week is my short week--Sunday off, Monday on, Tuesday and Wednesday off, Thursday on and Friday off. No chocolates last night, but one of the nurses brought in caramel popcorn. I live for the snacks.

Heh, for us M-F folks, it does seem a bit complicated, but I guess if the two-week schedule doesn't vary, it's not bad; working seven days out of fourteen, if I'm counting correctly. So, are those eight-hour shifts?

You got it! (far better than some of my friends and family). Yes, 7 days in 14--usually 8 hour shifts, but recently, a 12 hour shift about once every week or so. Ka-ching.
