Sanaki and Ike told me that there were others from where I came. I don't remember the name of it, only that my country is Daein. If there's anyone else, I would be happy to meet you. Even though the journals are convenient, I'd rather meet you face-to-face. I spend much of my day at the church. You're always welcome to stop by.

This last week, I've slowly been remembering more. Victory was near, and yet... that night, the enemy general and a small group of his troops came to ambush me. I might be lost had not the Black Knight appeared to defend me. Sir Knight was one of Daein's Four Riders, before... hm. I know he was a hero to us. It was an honor to fight with him that night.
But what the general said bothered me. Yes... I remember now. We fought to place the orphan prince back onto the throne. I believed in him. Yet this general said that it was not him who led the people, but me.
They wanted ... me?
I don't remember how I came to work with the prince. I never wanted to lead anything. But if the people wanted me to, I would. For them.
