The 14th didn't take his eyes away from his nephew, and when he exhaled the smoke from his pipe, slowly and thoughtfully, his face was blank, in what Mana recognized as his brother's expression of solemnity. Or awe. "Even the greatest of cowards will be hard to break when you've got nothing but your own will to back you up."
