• Every now and then, I have one of those social butterfly weekends. This was one of those weekends. Bobby and I met our friends Tristan and Don for Indian food on Friday night. At the beginning of the week, Bobby told me that he'd looked into and gotten us a membership at the Carroll Aquatics Center. We actually have a pool right here in Manchester, but we looked into it a few years ago, and it was ridiculously expensive; CAC is $45 a month for a husband/wife membership. Yesterday was our annual Halloween party, much scaled back from prior years due to a number of reasons, not least of which was that Bobby and I didn't get ourselves organized till mid-month. On Saturday, Bobby and I hosted a Haunted Housewarming Party for our friends and family to come visit our new home. I asked our guests to forgo the obligatory gift and potluck meal in favor of procuring--and wearing--a Halloween costume.
