give my ego a strokin'
So every week, the sisterhood chair of my sorority sends out an e-mail with the names of four sisters and asks the other sisters to send in comments about each person: memories, nice things to say about them, etc. Then these are presented to said sisters anonymously and with a pretty 'bib' with their name on it plus a few choice adjectives that sisters used to describe them. Well, last week, I was one of the sisters! I got my bib but our sisterhood chair forgot all those nice comments about me, so I finally got them today. I wanted to post them for posterity's sake and so that if I ever lost them or didn't have them handy, I could come back to this entry and make myself feel better. I have had a very stressful past week (as some people know) so these have definitely helped raise my spirits - not to mention the fact that REGION 1 WEEKEND IS OVER AND MY JOB IS COMPLETE AND NO MORE CHASING AFTER PEOPLE YAY! Ahem. Anyways, while I was posting these and whatnot, I thought, hey, people don't nearly say as much nice things about me as they should! So, anonymous posting is allowed, post what you think of me (you don't have to say nice things if you don't want to) so this can be my Make Missy Happy (Or Not) Post. But really, it will, even if you call me a bitch because I still have all these nice comments from my sisters to look upon and feel better.
At first it is hard to get to know Missy because she is very quiet, but once I do I didn't understand how I ever lived without her. She is funny, caring, and at times sarcastic, but that is what makes me love her so much. She is one of the best people that I know. She is a hard worker and would do anything for one of her sisters. I'm so glad that we have two more years together in DZ.
Missy is so patient and thoughtful in everything she does. She is pleasant to be around and takes a genuine interest in what you have to say, which I think is really sweet. :)

I have been getting to know missy and i really love her! she is fun and spunky! she brings so much to DZ, she is hard working, honest and reliable, a wonderful girl and a true friend.

I love talking to Missy before meeting. Now it may usually be about school, but it's always quite enjoyable. She usually has a new perspective to throw out there about her long hours studying. She's also always ready to lend a helping hand. She seems to always be doing something for the Chapter, and I love that about her!

She inspired me to excel academically and be a more grounded person :) I trust her more than anyone else on this earth. I'm glad that fate brought us together. Missy is like the underdog. She is quiet and shy when you first meet her but then she comes out of no where and is talkative and opinionated! Missy is a dependable, hardworker. She is there when you absolutely need something done and need to know that it will get done right.
My day is not complete without a "Missy hug" and smile. Missy gives the best hugs in the world, and always knows when I need one. I heard that you need 12 hugs a day to thrive -- one Missy hug equals about 13 and a half hugs. Thank for your warmth and genuine love each day.
