Rangerstop - Power Ranger convention in Orlando. November 11-13th 2016

It was pretty neat to see the crowd response for all of the Power Rangers. There were so many fans of all ages and races. The best though we're the little children and seeing my cousin Justin not only take the time with each fan, but reply to each person in a courteous & respectful way that not only made them feel special as a FAN, but valued as a person. I already know how awesome Justin is - but seeing those kids faces and how they *lit-up* when he spoke to them -- that really hit home. It's hard to explain. Some of the younger kids were meeting their hero, (who obviously is a hero to his kids and our family in real life,) but especially to those children who were coping with devastating diseases such as brain cancer. The kids were so excited and this really touched my cousin and family on an emotional level.
I'm dorking-out with my cousin Justin ( Zhane - the "In Space" Power Ranger) & Madre at the Rangerstop convention in Orlando. I'm so happy we were able to meet with him.
Another thing that made me incredibly happy was that I got to spend time with my friends Karla and her husband Mark. We've been friends for aaaaaaaages and they were in town visiting family and spending time at the amusement parks. It meant a lot to me that my mother and I were able to meet up with them for dinner, drinks and conversation. I enjoy their company immensely and they are one of my friends that I miss being able to see. I wouldn't ever choose to move back to DFW, but if I could transport people and objects to Florida, or if there were actual time travel; hanging out with those two would be on my list of monthly "To Do's".
My mom is the cutest person. Seriously. Look at that smile.
