According to the Tufts Daily, the owners of Dave's are going to open a restaurant and bar called Semolina Kitchen and Bar in late spring on the edge of the Tufts campus, near the Collaborative Innovation and Learning Complex at 574 Boston Ave. This the is big renovation Tufts did to the warehouse-like space across from St. Clement's.

I was checking out the Tufts football schedule for this season and noticed that the Sept. 24th home game is slated to start at 6 pm. Considering the games usually take 3 hours and need time (and lights) for overtime, that seemed off. Most Tufts games start between noon and 1:30 ( Read more... )

Assuming the GLX goes ahead, the Tufts building that will house a stop at the university will include a sky bridge to the campus. On Monday, June 15, Tufts University along with Somerville, Medford, and State public safety teams, will conduct a routine emergency preparedness training exercise. Starting at 7 a.m. police vehicles, ambulances, and fire engines will be deployed on and near campus. All activities will be simulated. They are not a response to an actual emergency.
