Since April 12 I have been in a constant state of inebriation and I’ve successfully initiated phase 2 of Operation Brain Cell Genocide forcing the survivors to wear a pink triangle while I simultaneously campaign against my liver on another front with constant alcohol bombing runs. Today I found myself in a state of shock and confusion when I felt a weird sensation I had long forgotten. I believe it is what they call being “sober.” Adapting to this new condition I decided to actually go to class today and update my journal since I could finally pass the breathalyzer lock on my keyboard. Ok so here’s a recap of my celebrationating. The bday party with my family on the weekend of April 9 - 11 was the warm up party. Monday April 12 was a preliminary party geared to help me practice drinking for the uber party on the 16th. The 14 th-15th were smaller celebrations with friends who invited me out to buy me drinks, again to prepare for some serious drinking for the weekend. Then, Friday April 16th I set out for Dallas.
Though I don’t remember every detail of this past weekend I recall that it was one of the best times I ever had. I truly do love my sister; she definitely gets the best sister of the year award! She through me a most awesome birthday with some interesting surprises: Limos, strippers, liquor, clubs, bars, vomit, lesbians, camcorders, cameras, dancing, sweating, playstation 2, and hotels were all part of the party package which took the entire weekend. So far I have planned to continue celebrating in San Antonio this weekend at Fiesta, a 10 ten day thingy with amazing food and shows. I recommend going, the food alone is totally worth the trip. The gorditas and the flautas are to die for! This is why I am still in Texas, it’s the closest to real Mexican food without being in Mexico, and I think I would die without it. Hmm, for some odd reason I need to go to Taqueria Arrandas in little Mexico across the street and order some flautas. Hopefully I won’t get mugged this time, though when I start speaking Spanish they usually spare me and find the next white guy.
