Talking to Megan Slankard (of the band by the same name) really got me excited about the concept of house concerts. She's done them for years of course, but I mean really, what an awesome way to get to know fans, have a low key, jam-tastic time? It's simple. Have a house? Invite a band(s), invite your friends, Costco bulk beer. And Done.
Since I know a very decent amount of VERY decent indie artists (all of who have myspacemusic sites, look 'em up), my dream concert lineup would be: Megan Slankard, Kenny Williams Jr and Mike Pascale, Lu Rain, and closed with Andrew Heringer. Knowing their sets, this concert could go all night, but who cares!!??
Now I just need a house big enough... but isn't that an awesome concept?! You're invited of course...
