a resolution, you could say

So, This one time, a while ago, I made a decision to try and memorize one bible verse each day. It never really worked though, because sometimes the verse would be long and I would forget them and I would feel crappy because i'm not sticking to the "one verse a day thing" and getting backed up a guess you could say, so eventually I stopped trying.

Last night I ended up laying in bed for what left like an hour just praying about everything. One thing I learned was that I have no reason not to pray more, because I have a lot to pray about. But one of the things God put on my heart was to start memorising scripture again. Except this time, I dont need to put any certain time requirements on it, If it takes me a few days to memorize one thing, then fine. The important thing is quality, not quantity. So, I'm going to do it. I started this morning and I wanted to share the verse with all of you.

"For I know the plans I have for you." Declares the Lord, "Plans for wholeness and not for evil, plans to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all of your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13

That's a good verse. Especially the last part. I need to do that more, not just casually seek God whenever it might be convienent, but desperatly seek him with all of my heart, Its then that I'll find him.

P.S. If anyone is interested, I'm shutting down this journal soon and will only be posting in my new one, Click Here to go to the new one.
