- Guy's Potato Chips
- The Royals being halfway decent
- Christmas variety specials, like Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, I think even Johnny Cash had one.
- Saturday morning cartoons. I know there are still cartoons on Saturday morning, but they are pretty much the same at the cartoons that are on every single day.
- Watching the Lone Ranger before church
- A Sunday newspaper. The Bangor Daily News has a "Weekend Edition" that comes out on Saturday.
- Restaurant ribs that have been cooked for more than two hours
- A Mexican restaurant that has pork dishes. EDIT:We found one in Bangor!!
- The rebus puzzles inside the bottlecaps of Olympia beer. If you couldn't solve it, you'd had too many.
- Dino's on the Hill in Boulder. You could get a burger and a pitcher for $1.99. That's all you got: a burger on a bun (no fries, no pickles, no lettuce, etc.) and a pitcher of 3.2 Stroh's Dark.
- Taco Tuesday at Taco John's
- In the summer, turning the AM radio dial until I got complete silence, and being pretty sure that would be the Royals game. Eventually Fred White's or Denny Matthew's voice would break the silence, confirming the suspicion.
- Quigley's
- Twin Peaks, the TV series, not the mall in Longmont
- waking up to the sun on the mountains in the morning
- the Mountie Burger at Bugaboo Creek: a hamburger with barbecue sauce, ham, and mojack cheese. I don't usually like cheeseburgers, but this one...hmmm
- Spending the afternoon with Grandma Crow. She'd claim not to know any family stories, but if you would ask her one question about a story someone else had told, she would talk for hours. I never like Pepsi, but it sure tasted good in her living room. Not anywhere else, though.
- Being able to get unsweetened, brewed iced tea at any gas station or convenience store. A little tin of lemon wedges would be a nice bonus.
Somebody wants to play games at nickjr.com, so I guess I'll have to stop.
