In Absentia

Last night Phil invited us to the usual Sunday session at The Dover Castle Inn. We tumbled out of there about two thirty in the morning.

This morning cousin has gone to Sittingbourne to get his money out and then he will be over in Faversham, apparently, to pay some more of the vet bill for the injection given to Wallace [the cat] to ease her into the fulsome sleep that weekend she passed away.

This has meant a free morning of watching what I want on television. An old episode of Frazier this morning, and now on the midi hifi I am listening to some classical music, in particular Franz Liszt’s “Piano Sonata in B Minor” played by Nikolai Demidenko.

I also popped into the Co-op to get some Condor for the pipe as yesterday I had finished the lovely vanilla flavoured Danish one my brother gave me the previous weekend.

classical, pipe tobacco, music
