Saturday Slumming
The clocks go forward overnight which means we get an extra hour in bed but the afternoons will be darker quicker. The signs of winter are soon to come alas.
I do not mind it being cold , it is the rain and snow that I prefer not to have, although of more recent years , we have had no snow or a very thin inkling of it.
I am enjoying the new smart bulb in my flat, that sits near the hi-fi and bedroom area, and is controlled by Alexa. I can change the colour to suit my mood, from white to blue to red. Guess what I use the deep red colour for?
It is a rich bordello colour too. Sadly, no vosotrs when that colour is on.
A few items came in the post today. Lovely music by Voice Of The Seven Thunders, the MC5, Lunge and Cymande. They will fill the weekend with music.
Two alternative rock albums, one afro funy stuff form Britain and some improv from this fair isle. Yes, the MC5 are still going (in name only now that Wayne Kramer, who initiated this new project,passed away rectly) and that is their latest album after years of being silent, well since 1971 to be precise. Howvwer, guests featured on this album include Vernon Reid (Living Colur) and Slash (Guns N' Roses). IT ROCKS!!
