Well, it turned out to be a very lovely sunny day. This was good because it was another day, my fourth in a row, of walking to town and back.
On my circulatory walk into town this late morning I discovered another household had a box of stuff for passers-by to take free. This was a mixed bag of CDs with some classical ones. So I dived in, coming out with five such goodies. All in very good condition as far as the CD is concerned. Some of the jewel cases will need replacing but otherwise a stonking find.
These are -
Breethoven - Diabelli Variations (Philips)
Brahms - The Late Piano Music (Philips Duo)
J. S. Bach - Concertos For Harpsichord And Strings (IMP Classics)
Poulenc - Piano Music Volume One (Naxos)
Poulenc - Piano Music Volume Two (Naxos)
I will take another route into town tomorrow. Who knows what I might find that day.
