Just Wondering

How into music were you as a kid?

What artists did you collect the most or do you still collect them?

If you could have a VIP/backstage pass to any performer/group in history (dead or alive), who would it be?

just wondering

1) Music was my LIFE. That and theater. And don't even get me started on musical theater.

2) I had a lot of phases - in order from elementary to college, Classical, pop, rock, hard rock, alternative/goth, new wave, punk, folk, then rolled around to 1920's/30's jazz. Now it's pretty much a little bit of everything. I love finding new B-sides of artists I like, or all new music (like an acapella group called +4db that did an awesome cover of XTC's "Rook")
3) Dead or alive? Hmm...probably B-52's. Not because they're my favorite band, but because I think their backstage antics and after-parties would be unmistakably memorable. Simon & Garfunkel would probably be great to hear close-up too. Especially around the time they did The Graduate soundtrack.

Quite a bit.
Comedy music, Old Country, Bluegrass, Novelty, Metal, Pop, early Rap, Then I got into 60s Psychedelic music. Especially Donovan.(who I still collect)
From the early 90s through the 00s I worked at a used record shop and expanded my collection.
Either Homer & Jethro or Spike Jones and His City Slickers.

i have always enjoyed music, especially things i could sing along with. only more recently have i appreciated classical as well, but i am still a novice. don't think i would ever rank as an audiophile, though. as a small kid it was the country and easy listening of the 70s that my mom listened to. in the 80s it was mostly pop and classical rock, although my mom also introduced me to show tunes by taking me to some musicals. in the 90s, i became more interested in harder rock, alternative, and grunge. more or less that's what i still like, but mixed a bit with everything else ( ... )

How into music were you as a kid? Very

What artists did you collect the most or do you still collect them? I loved disco but once I found the Eurythmics it's all about Annie Lennox

If you could have a VIP/backstage pass to any performer/group in history (dead or alive), who would it be? Too many to choose
