I wrote a really long, detailed entry on the Washington, DC trip complete with a boatload of pictures.

It was gorgeous and far superior to everything ever written.

Then illiterate people complained it was too long, and out of anger, I deleted it.

Lesson of the story: if it's too long, don't say anything and miss out on the important content. (or if it disturbs you "friend's list," nicely ask for a LJ-Cut)

thank you! i think that the length shouldnt impact the point of what is written because its the overall feeling or emotion behind it, not just how long it is. and if people dont see that then they obviously cant be too god at discovering the point of what is written. I think that impatient people shouldnt read these things if they wont give the light of day to take the time to invision what is said and why the person wrote it
