Correction; Elissa's essay is on the interstitial. Which can be liminal, but doesn't have to be. So, how is the story coming?

(Grin) Poor Eric. He's a good guy, but sometimes he probably thinks I am a nutbar. Story is making slow progress.

You should've heard his reaction to what I once did in an alternate history.

Background: I had Germany defeat France in 1914 by gating a German army to within 20 miles south of Paris starting August 1st of that year. Not all at once of course, but swiftly enough that the French could not overwhelm the invaders and save the day. I told Eric this at a Conjecture a few years back, and his reaction was, "Ack! How could you!?"

Have you ever noticed that hardcore socialists tend to be rather conservative in their world view?
