Bow chicka Bow wowwwwww........and some autocrossing stuffs
OK..........so June regional hits (1st weekend of the month) and I am hosting a practice......I've been sick as hell since Thursday...and Saturday I'm just miserable LOL 101.5 temperature and all....taking antibiotics and such....so I'm doing great.
Saturday night I'm like dead and i take one of those 800mg Ibuprofen pills (prescription strength baby..) and a hydrocodone. An hour later I'm great. So what do i do take Sunday on my way to the event? Oh ya....the same thing :)
So here I am feeling like a bowl of J-E-LL-O :) and its time to run. It was like watching my runs at home on the tv at 1/2 speed. Trippy.......LOL
I still paxed like 3rd too so I was happy :) I haven't competed in the Porsche since Nationals and first time back its like home again.
The next weekend its divisional time.....so I'm looking out for Squiggy and Drew. I have to make him smaller because he's skinnier than me. HUGE congrats to DVP on the new him. I envy his determination.
The Div was a good weekend with drew and I both having mistakes on day 1 and day 2 on our fast runs. Day was was about 0.5 worth and day 2 was maybe 0.3 worth. But all in all I was pleased with the weekend result. It was a fun time as well....as always.
The tires on the Porsche however have seen better days. The car stuck like glue but the tires had a TON of wear. More so than a regional event.
Oh well.....
WELL now I'm on a team in the 24 hours of Lemons race......AND I'm looking for umbrella girls......so if you know any good personable chicks who are into cars and can be distracting......send em my way. I've emailed two and gotten a no from one......so hopefully the 2nd comes through and can lead the way :)
Oh ya the car is a 1986 BMW 325e :)
