Thank you all for the well wishes during my little episode. Recovery has been quick. I went back to work one week to the day after my appendix was removed. My Dad was shocked, way back when he had his taken out he was out of comission for a good couple of months. They did mine laproscopically (not sure of the spelling on that one) so the recovery time was a fraction of what it would have been if they had cut me open. If it had burst they would have had to do that, but they caught it in time. Thank God for modern medicine!
All in all it was about as pleasent as an experience like that could have been. The pain wasn't bad afterward, only one night in the hospital and I was back to eating regular food the very next day. Last Wednesday when I went to the doctor he checked the area where they went in, shrugged his shoulders and said it was pretty much a textbook case with no problems and released me to work with lifting restrictions. Those are over this Friday and life goes on.
Anyway, again, thanks for all the well wishes. Must get back to work.
