Share the Wealth Wednesday #8
Good day to you, one and all! It is Wednesday, and with that inevitable turning of the weekly cycle comes once more that most hallowed of occasions: Share the Wealth Wednesday!
This week, my offering is one I'd actually been meaning share for quite some time now. Those who know me well know that I have long been a fan of the comedy stylings of Marc Maron, who has in recent years been doing a combination of stand up comedy and left-leaning political talk radio hosting. The latest permutation of this routine comes in the form of a twice-weekly podcast simply entitled "WTF."
Marc Maron is a guy who has been in the business for essentially his entire adult life, and knows a whole lot of people both as colleagues and as friends. As such, having such big names as Sarah Silverman, Janeane Garofalo, Zach Galifianakis and others over to his house for this latest project is no big thing for him. It's free, it's consistently entertaining, often personal and occasionally even thought-provoking.
The only podcast I listen to regularly, and for good reason. I strongly encourage you to give it a listen at the above link, or, if you're too lazy to handle that, click the below thingee to listen to what I consider one of his best shows, filmed live at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles.
