New Model Army dates beckon.
First date was Coventry on Thursday. Met up with friends in the Whitefriars pub and so started a surreal evening. Met lots of new people and was hauled across the pun to meet "Jerry".
This turned out to be Jerry Dammers who was propping up the bar, resplendent in Pork pie hat!
Great gig as well - this is going to be a good tour...
Friday was Drunk in Public in Holmfirth.
I picked up d00mw0lf, resplendent with hair freshly dyed red and green, then the magical mystery tour commenced. Eventually got to Holmfirth and then wandered around for a while, finding everything except the venue. Eventually found venue / pub / beer / people. What more do you need for a great night? Oh yes the gig was great as well!
I'm off to NMA in Oxford on Wednesday, Scunthorpe on Friday, back to Holmfirth on Saturday and on Sunday a Greenpeace benefit in London at Clapham Grand in memory of Darryl. Justin is playing solo also with Press Gang and Wob amonst others. This would be worth it for Press Gang alone.
