Love that really matters

Sermon was good today, sermon was good last week, sermon was good last last week, sermons have always been good =D Last week, I can forget everything else but this that Ps Jeff had said, those who are blessed with the ability to speak good Mandarin should make good use of it. I was like, "oh ya, why didn't I think of that!". Never looked at it that way, but now I do =D It's a gift, it's a gift, haha especially in this place, at this age, in this period.

Today's sermon was kinda special, something that was close to this man's heart, and a lot of others' I believe. It really takes a lot of courage for him to admit that he's attracted to men, and it takes a lot of faith and determination for him to choose not to fall into temptation. One thing he said which left quite a deep impression in me, "even though the temptation's always there, but it doesn't make it a right thing to do." Don't give up fighting, and don't give in to temptations.

I guess some people were really shocked at what he shared on his personal life and all, but after service when we talked about it, I gotta say that it's a really impactful message for most of us. It's very personal, and well, I guess Raphael was right, sharings that are personal really make great impacts on listeners =)

God really spoke to me through this man this afternoon. Really admire him. Really really do. Haha I think I'm going to save a copy of the sermon the moment it's up on the website. And yea, like what they were saying today, it's such a pity that so many people had to miss this today!

Let me remember that there is a love that really matters.
Let me be filled with the love that really matters.
Let me be changed by the love that really matters.

church, love
