I got tired of reediting that last post.
List of things I want/need to do before I kill myself (aka, "travel back to school"):
- email department boss and explain my plans to be back this summer/fall,
along with contact info for the school coop requirement person for my major.- start gathering up my things from work
- call my roommate and ask what she's planning on bringing (again)
- finish writing my list of 'things that need to be packed up'
- start gathering said things
- figure out what/how I'm packing them
- Laundry. 'nuff said.
- wait for my computer and software to arrive
- complete Adobe's Education Discount Verification and get my unlock code
- email Dad my enrollment verification for health insurance
- practice packing things in my car
- put gas in the car, and get/borrow a ice scraper for while I'm up there
- get step-dad to (finish) installing the new brake lines I bought, and check the tires/oil
- get a (better) pair of sneakers
- Make a shopping list for perishables to buy once I'm up there.
Oh, there is nothing scarier than the house suddenly making never-before-heard loud cracking noises (I assume it's settling? getting creaky joints in its teenage years? No one's awake or moving at this hour after all) when you're reading scary stories.
I should be asleep, but I'm getting up in a hour or two, so I dunno if it's a good idea anymore to try to actually sleep, instead of zone out.
I just hope later today at work isn't going to be yet another case of 'The customer is
Not Always Right' because I'm too tired for that.
