This is an intro post, for any apparently crazy misguided fool of a person who got somehow directed to my journal.
I'm J. If you ever happen to learn the full extent of my name, good for you.
I'm old enough to get plastered, but wise enough not to do so, even if I think I deserve it.
I'm an on-again-off-again college student at the moment, when I'm not at home working part time IT repair for my high school. Least I get paid nicely for the frustrations
I'm a geek. Yes, female geeks exist. No, I don't want to hear you spout off your opinion of the latest game in an ever-increasing monologue. No, I will not automatically be your girlfriend. You gotta prove yourself for that.
I play mainly old skool games, especially those old pc games I keep lying around.
For any who are interested, I'll edit this later with a giant list. Though I may just do that anyway, for self-reference
Music-wise, I'm mainly alternative rock and some pop, with some techno thrown in. Also, I have a fair sized collection of soundtracks from various animes and games. Mainly though, I get my music from friends, since I rarely make the effort to purchase or download myself.
My other hobbies are numerous, but hardly as life-consuming as the aforementioned.
If you'd like to friend me, go ahead. Just make sure to say hi when you do. I don't friend back indiscriminately without at least hearing a 'hi, can you be my friend', and I'll check your profile when you do. I like knowing a little on who I'm talking to, after all. If not, well, you're not missing out on all that much really. I tend to post a lot publicly, since I'm rarely ever specific enough to warrant a friends-only lock.
