This weekend? I'm nonexistant- try someone else.
I'm so tired it's not fair. I've only been up 12 hours after sleeping in most of the day, and I was still so exhausted when I did finally get up, that I could have crawled more than willingly back again into my cocoon of warm sheets and not moved for another day.
My headache hasn't gone away yet either. I swear I've had it for days on end. Bet it's my blood pressure. Godsdamnit I hate that borderline normal-high crap that mostly prevents me from medical relief short of exorbitant fees and a hospital trip.
I've been wanting to play Gex for a while now, but the 3DO is at home and the dos version I found to download isn't really a dos game, and only runs with half the screen missing and in funky technicolour shades. At least having the soundtrack is an improvement, even if it doesn't have any of Gex's amusing jokes and interjections. Such as the few I remember:
"My inner child is coming out! And it HURTS!"
"Looks like Beetlejuice threw up."
"This place is weirder than fourth of July at Rick James place."
"Hurry Scoob! Let's get back to the Mystery Van!"
"Heeey, SNL!"
"Let's get it on!"
"Kill your tv man!"
"Looks like Ed's having his birthday cake."
I'd know more, but I only got past Cartoon world once, and that was more than a few years ago; and only managed to get to mid-Cartoon world in one 3 hour sitting over thanksgiving break.
Maybe after break I'll just smuggle the 3do up here with me. Not like anyone at home plays it anyway.
