Day Thirteen - Baking up a Storm

Summary: After dropping off some baked goods in the lounge, Kaylee and Simon chat a little about the cookies and her penchant for baking. Simon then makes a few gestures, more forward than he usually is, and Kaylee - despite a few misgivings - suggests they head up to her room. They do, and sex is had before they curl up to fall asleep together. Kaylee sort of dreads what the morning will bring, and she hopes it was worth it.
She'd managed to overwhelm the cafeteria with desserts. Cookies, pies, muffins, brownies, cupcakes, and cakes of every variety and flavor. The majority of it had been put into the dessert rack in the cafeteria line, though there was still plenty left over.
Deciding she'd about had her fill of baking for now - only because she was kind of tired - Kaylee carried a quartet of baskets out of the cafeteria. The baskets contained what was left over and wouldn't fit in the dessert racks; she intended to leave them in the lounge for people who wanted a quick snack.
Setting the baskets on convenient tables, she slipped a pair of frosted sugar cookies from one before retreating to flop into a chair. Only then did she look around to see who she was sharing the lounge with - if anyone at all.
