"Can't really question.. a good versus evil kind of thing." It wasn't really that hard to understand. Though possibly learning exactly what the other side planned to use against them would be essential. Though, he was sure he'd find out sooner or later. "I'm at your disposal."

That would be the last thing uttered from Mulwray's lips as he headed back out the door from which he entered. He paused again with his hand on the frame, head tilting to the side as he spoke of his shoulder. Tone a little less than enthusiastic, "Thanks..for your help.." With that, he vanished from the doorway.

Rather than taking them two at a time as he did on the way up. He sullenly took them one by one. Hands shoved into his front pockets as he scooted past the main door and down the three last steps.

Where was he headed now? He had no idea, but he did head back to the rock that Danielle said she'd wait buy. He tried hiding the dejected look upon his features, but failed at doing so. "Hey.." Even if he would have succeeded in hiding his less than pleased expression, his tone would have been a dead give-away.

Concern briefly darkened Dani's eyes, and she wondered what had happened. She pushed away from the rock, stepping toward him. Resting a hand on his shoulder briefly, she tilted her head as she regarded him. "Did it not go well?" she inquired softly, her brow furrowing a bit.

He did look a bit like someone had kicked his puppy, and she frowned softly. She hadn't really meant it when she'd said Ice was scary - though she supposed the woman could certainly be intimidating.

But had something gone wrong? Curious, she waited for his response.

His head tipped in her direction, and he smiled faintly at the contact. "No. Nothing went wrong. Not in the sense of the regards of this so called struggle." There was no need to bring up the rest of his conversation. No need to bring Shal into the mix yet.

He needed to lighten up his mood again. Surely there was a way to go about doing so. "Feel like doing something?" He didn't exactly specify what that was, but he'd leave it up to her for input. Generally, Brennan was always game for something fun. Nothing could deny that.

Maybe finding a basketball would be added to his to-do list later on. Why not work on his skills so that when he found Jesse he could kick his ass at the sport. He flicked a casual grin to his current companion before speaking up again.

"There's got to be something fun do do around here, aside from..the given.."

"Oui, but what one person finds fun, another may find dull, non?" She tilted her head a bit. Well, she'd gone looking for company because she'd been bored, and here was a cure for that. "I imagine we can come up with something to do. There is a pool, and the lounge of course, the ocean, an orchard, the beach," she looked contemplative. "There are restaurants if you are 'ungry? Or shopping if you would like to get some things to ... ah ... personalize your room?"

She'd done a bit of shopping herself after she'd settled in. The blank rooms were kind of ... depressing without something to brighten them up. At least as far as she was concerned.

Oddly enough she was right. From the short time he spent in that room it was a little bland. Though he could live with that for the time being. Surprisingly enough he wasn't hungry so that ruled out two options: eating and shopping.

The thought of water, despite his mutant abilities struck him as an idea. He normally wasn't one for swimming but as long as as he didn't need to shoot a Tesla coil at someone, there was no fear to be had.

"Water, sounds fairly idealistic. Which is better, the pool or the beach?" This was of course if she were up for it. He could just as easily settle for a game of whatever. Then it occurred to him, he had nothing to swim in at the moment, though that never exactly stopped him before.

"The pool 'as better lighting," she said with a vague gesture toward the darkening sky. "And it is not so full of sand, non?" She'd be up for either if he turned out to be a beach man, but despite the chemical smell, she preferred the cleaner water of the pool. Or the cleaner environment.

Besides, she could always head up to the hot tubs if he just wanted to swim. They could talk between the two places. "But I 'ave not given both places a fair chance, so per'aps we may try both at some point and you might decide," she decided.

Tonight though, she thought she'd be more inclined for the indoor swimming place.

"Not in the mood for sand in places I don't want it right now. So..pool?" He offered a smile, at least this way he'd also have a chance to possibly find something worth while swimming in. Of course the option of doing both would seem feasible enough.

Getting his bearings straight for a second, he opted to check just how well his memory and sense of direction still served him. "Pool is in..that direction, yes?" He had only hoped than when he pointed in the same direction as the Dorms, that he were right. Looking like an idiot was not his idea of fun right now. Though his subdued idiocy was also a form of laughter for others.

He figured since she lead him to the Town Hall, he'd take the objective and head towards the Dorm, guessing she'd stride along with him. At least he kept the pace manageable, as not to stray to far ahead of her.

"It is be'ind the dorms," she murmured with a little grin. "I should go up and change first," she said as she walked along beside him. "If you want, I will meet you there in five minutes or so?"

She didn't think it would take that long to tug on a suit and head back to the pool. It did make her glad she'd bought one the day she arrived though. Granted, she'd mostly just used it for sunbathing, but still. She could swim in it. She was pretty sure, anyway.

Dani tried to recall the last time she'd actually gone swimming ... but it had been a while. Well, she probably wouldn't drown.

He chuckled some before adding "Behind the Dorms is still in the Dorms direction." Ah, the Mulwray cockiness, how he thought he had misplaced it along the way. Though, now it was apparent he didn't have a set of swimming trunks. That could easily be fixed. "Pool. Five minutes. Gotcha."

Thankfully he remembered where in the Dorms he was put, as he parted ways with Danielle and darted up to the third floor. Now came the fun task of a suit. Then the drawer of clothes flitted into his mind. Tugging said drawer open he snagged on of the generic pairs of pants and managed to rip them at the knee's thus converting them to shorts.

Not even bothering to change in the bathroom he shed the clothes he had on, and slipped into the newly made trunks. He pondered taking off his Comm Link ring, but decided against it as he headed back down to go off towards the pool. He didn't even bother snagging a towel. He could always air dry quick enough.
