Day Twenty - Miserable Failure?

Summary: Jaime's sulking in the lounge, she and Kai chat a bit before Jaime heads to her room where Mal is sulking. They talk a little before she heads off to have a shower.
Jaime slumped in one of the chairs, glaring toward the TV without watching it, her arms crossed over her chest. So, after her big deal about going over there, she winds up being useless and shuttled back home.
Sure, okay, not the point because all but one Riverfellian had been tagged out before she showed back up - Aisling had encountered one on the way in that was unconscious and she'd tagged him out.
Still, she felt like a failure. To have stressed both herself and Mal out, and for what? Nothing, that was what. Okay, sure, they had the orb blocker, which didn't help because Riverfell hadn't won an orb. They might, okay, but until then ... so what that they had it? Jaime was perfectly aware that she was sulking, and she didn't care. She figured that they'd done to her whatever they'd done last time to make her want to walk to the castle - Kat had called it an Imperius curse - and that annoyed her. If she was just going to be told what to do every time she went over there, didn't that render her pretty much useless to the whole operation?
She thought it did.
