Ahhh new Supernatural Comic!!

I had no idea they were doing a new comic!

I own both the first 2 series graphic novels and while the first one was decidedly MEH on all counts, the second one was actually pretty cool.

So now they're doing a new 6 comic series! I am so totally excited, you guys have to go check this out:

i am SO glad they decided to go back to this medium, i LOVE what they did with Rising Son and i was hoping they'd play with this more. even after the series is over, there will be so much room for back and future story within the comic world, so i hope they continue to use it :D

srsly, that makes me ingloriously happy 8D

Oh my god ME TOO. And like, the Buffy comics have been going on for ages so I'm hoping that they catch a clue and keep going with the Supernatural comics as well.

Eric has mentioned how much he loves the medium, I can't remember which of the Season Companions he talked about it in but he expressed a strong hope that there would be more in the future. (and found Rising Son to be really successful, storytelling-wise)

Anyways, YES! Glad I'm not the only fan of the comics around here. :D

PS: Whenever I read fanfiction that pays lip service to the comics I get all giddy inside! <3 Ahhh I am a dork~~~

of course Eric loves the medium. he's a geek! XD and i love that he's a geek, lol, makes it all the more interesting.

and i completely agree with you about the first comic they put out. the story was conflicting and the art was meh, but i loved the second <3 from those previews of the third, it looks like i won't be disappointed! they got Sam's pissy bitch face down perfect XD

there were a couple of pictures in the first comic that were pretty amazing tho, the chapter dividers that is. i used a couple of them to try and draw john awhile back, i was that impressed with how they were done.
oh what i wouldn't give for some good john-based pov comic *__* the wee!chester years are so vague when it comes to him. CONTENT, I NEEDS IT.

yeah...yeah, i'm a dork too. OBVSLY.

I know, I was impressed with Diego's grasp of the Sam bitchface! Fantastic. :D

I want more John POV comic, maybe even during the Stanford years. And some Dean only POV from that time period would rock too. We only really see him when he's with Sam or his Dad...

Ehh, we don't get these comics here in Brazil.. I'm gonna have to count on some good soul uploading them. I'm not the biggest DC fan, but I definitely want to check this out if I can.

Awww~! Let me see what I can do about finding a way for you to read them. I may be able to come up with a solution. Once the comics come out in graphic novel form I think it'll be easier for you to find and buy them.

I'll try and find some links for you. :D

Haha thanks! If you see something I appreciate it, but don't worry about it, one of these days I'll find it when I least expect it.
It would be easier if I still had torrent, this kind of thing tends to turn up like that. Well, maybe in a few years they'll start bringing the spn comics, seeing as they just started publishing the Buffy ones down here. The show has a pretty wide brazilian fanbase, so it's not completely inimaginable.

Yeah, Diego's Dean is really not quite right. D: But I try to give him a little leeway since Dean is the hardest thing to draw EVER for me. Jensen's beautiful features are here just to torment us artists.

Meanwhile Jared was made to be drawn in stylized ways, lol.

Do you reckon they might do a collection of these comics when they're all finished, because I'm pretty sure I can't afford to/don't know where to start to get hold of them as they come out, but I might be able to save up for a collection of some kind when they're all done...??

I have Rising Son upstairs..I..think. I'm very confused about what I do and don't have at the moment, lol. I should look at that!

They will definitely be collecting all of these into a graphic novel eventually. :) I think I may be able to find a way for you to get them in the meantime though!

Here is Rising Son as a graphic novel! And I am sure they'll release these once the series is done. :D Only 6 months! I'm gonna go to the comic store this weekend and try to get it.

He is so talented, I love his work! His Batman stuff is so amazing. <3
